This Grove HL 150 jib base section received damage as a result of a two-block incident. All four chords were bent upward, with the center of the bend being just forward of the support plate that tied the upper and lower chords together. A structural repair was engineered by WHECO and approved by Manitowoc. A complete documentation package was created and provided with the repair.
