This Link-Belt HTC-8660 inner-mid section was damaged and required either a repair or replacement. WHECO was able to provide a safe, time- and cost-effective, compliant, engineered repair plan to remove the damaged areas, fabricate two new side panels, and return the boom section to pre-accident condition. The repair was documented and the boom was reassembled, tested, and returned to service.
