WHECO performed a series of challenging structural repairs to put this Demag crawler crane back into revenue-generating service. In addition to repairing/restoring 180′ of main boom and 120′ of jib, the superstructure was severely damaged, requiring extensive repairs. All structural, mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic repairs were performed using two of WHECO’s five facilities to expedite the repair process, which took approximately five months.
